There was an error while AlienFX Controller was communicating with the computer. When I right click the AlienFX icon this Message comes Up: When I right click the AlienFX on the taskbar I have: "Keep Status Zones On During Go Dark" and "Enable 3rd Party Lighting Effects" Checked but I cant check Dim Lighting Zones. When I turned off the laptop the lights are off again. I updated Alienware Command Center and my BIOS. Today i booted it up normally and then the lights turn on again but they're white. I wasn't able to change the color. I read up a couple of tutorials online about this problem and none really seem to work. I also decided to restore my laptop to factory conditions and nothing changed. The Keyboard, Speakers, Power Button, 'Alienware' lights are all off exept for the alien head on the laptop lid. So about a week ago I turned on my M11x R2 (pretty outdated I know) and noticed that the back lights on my laptop wasn't working.
